Background
As healthcare systems gets more consumer-driven, services and products related to personal health and wellness see new opportunities, but also new challenges. Active and involved users of healthcare systems set new demands for how services and supporting products can increase learning and responsibility for their own health and wellness. Among other enabling products, these can include information appliances that give people access to personal health related data through self-diagnostics.
